Afriwood Studioz announces the release of first drama film "MANIA"

Kampala, Uganda: Friday, 30 September 2022 - Daniel Massamba Meboya, corporate communications strategist, attended a meeting -- at the campus of MEDIAVISION ACADEMY® -- focused on collaboration as part of the launch of a crime drama television series entitled “Mania Movie Premiere”. The Afriwood Studioz Ltd.’s delegation was composed of Angél Toni Acer and Genevieve Tusiime, chief executive director and executive director respectively, both presented detailed information concerning “Mania Movie Premiere” project. The crime drama television series will be launched on Friday, 11 November 2022 in the Ugandan capital city, Kampala National Theatre. Robert Nkambo, director of the MEDIAVISION ACADEMY® , who received the delegation of Afriwood Studioz Ltd., told Angél Toni Acer and Genevieve Tusiime that the Academy will provide support for the event, with a view to ensuring its success. Mania is the story of Emma, a young man who gets convicted for a crime he never committed in a bid to save his sister Ella who gets caught up in a murder mystery that claims the life of her possessive friend Caren and his Girlfriend Vicky. William his best friend tries his best to bail him out. A feature film, Mania is an inaugural project of a newly established Ugandan Production House called Afriwood Studioz Limited and co- produced by film proprietors Angel Toni Acer and Actress Grace Genevieve Tusiime.
